My love for photography began with a deep yearning to connect with the past. I had so many questions about my grandparents after they were gone. And when I stumbled across old photos—images tied to the stories I’d heard—it was like stepping into their world. I could feel their presence, their joy, their lives. That experience stayed with me.
Years later, when I had my daughter—sweet Miss Olivia—everything changed again. I wanted to freeze time, to hold onto every fleeting, precious moment. As a tired new mama, I didn’t always have the energy to write things down, so I turned to my camera. And just like that… my photography obsession began.
What started as a personal passion grew organically into something more—this business I call Photo-Crush. It all began with taking photos for friends and family, and thanks to word-of-mouth (still my favorite form of growth!), it blossomed into what it is today. I even have a referral program that makes me so giddy to share—because I truly believe the best stories are passed from one heart to another.
For me, photography isn’t just about capturing an image. It’s about emotion, connection, story. Whether it's tiny baby shoes, a glowing smile, a tearful hug, or the twinkle in your eyes as you look at your favorite person—these are the moments that make life rich and real. And these are the moments I live to capture.

Without a doubt, Richelle has been our families favorite photographer and we are so fortunate to have her grace us with her talent! Photo sessions with her feel more like a family and friend get together where we update each other on our lives than a business meeting. Richelle has the best eye for photos without making it feel staged. Everything feels natural and fun, candid shots that are also perfected poised and ready for display in my house. The yearly photo shoots help anchor our family in my memories and are joyful to look back through to see my family through the years. Richelle has also done newborn photo session for us and those photos are truly magical to look at plus she was a dream to work with—she was flexible with timing and as always excited to meet the new baby. We recently had a family photo shoot with Richelle, and she truly exceeded our expectations.
